PartsBin charges a flat 8% seller fee on completed sales only — no listing fees, no monthly subscriptions, no hidden charges. Stripe's standard processing fee (~2.9% + $0.30) is also deducted from your payout, as it is on all online platforms. That means on a $200 sale, you keep roughly $176.
Compare that to eBay at 12.9%+ or Mercari at 10% — the savings add up fast, especially on higher-value parts.
Payment is collected from the buyer at checkout via Stripe and held in escrow. Once the buyer confirms delivery (or 5 days pass after the expected delivery date with no dispute), your payout is released to your connected bank account.
Stripe payouts typically arrive within 2 business days of being released. You'll get an email confirmation with your net payout amount when it's on the way.
Sellers are responsible for shipping. Once a buyer purchases your listing, you'll receive their shipping address and have 3 business days to ship the item and provide a tracking number.
We recommend USPS, UPS, or FedEx with tracking for all shipments. Pack components carefully — static bags for boards and GPUs, anti-shock padding for drives and CPUs. Shipments without tracking are harder to dispute if issues arise.
If a buyer opens a dispute, our team reviews it using tracking information, photos, and messages. Sellers who ship with tracking and accurate descriptions are protected.
Tips to protect yourself: ship with tracking, take photos of the item before packing, and describe condition honestly in your listing. Misrepresentation claims are harder to defend without documentation.
